3D scan people and manufacture figures for this project we 3D scanned 6 people and manufacture miniature figurines. We brought the models, makeup and hair stylists plus wardrobe staff to our Brooklyn facility. This was the best facility to 3D scan people. Once our client had their models ready for the scanning we were all set.  The scanning of the models took only 2-3 minutes and we had their entire figures mapped in the computer. We then took the PMS swatch book and choose the best colors for  the final models. We manufactured a 3d printed figure for final approval. After final approval was received, we went into full production and created tooling for each figure. The figures were hand painted. The box design was printed 2 colors and featured a cutout for the figure to drop into. We can develop and manufacture these types of products around your goals. This Rangers season ticket holder gift had an amazing 3D effect. We took 5 different layers of plastic to give the season ticket holders something they would want to hang on their wall. We wanted to capture the same depth effect the ice has on the Madison square garden rink. I started with the Rangers print of the logo throughout the years. Then the next layer was a piece of clear plastic that featured a small silver specs of glitter. This was placed over the printed artwork. Next was a piece of 1/8" thick clear acrylic then another pieces of the silver glitter. On top we added another layer of 1/8" thick acrylic and silkscreened scratches to resemble the scratches in the ice. The final piece has an amazing wow factor that you can not capture with a camera. Feedback was tremendous. A favorite gift of many season ticket holders.    

This started out as a cool educational concept that took many turns. First quoted out domestically because of the tight deadline. There was no time for domestic tooling which means this was going to be made out of acrylic and have four color process printing on each side. While we were making some domestic samples with direct printing on acrylic and versions with a 2 color silkscreening, we were also quoting at our overseas facility. Due to the amount of labor and printing the overseas facility actually was a faster bet. Without a PO our facility took the gamble and started the tooling. Once the tooling was finished (in under two weeks) we made a few samples and rushed them to the client with unapproved artwork. The samples were a hit and the next step was to decide on the grain of the sand. It needed to resemble sugar so we went thought a few samples of real white sand and manufactured sand. They chose the natural white sand. The final samples came in and everything was a go. The deadline was a little tighter and we now were producing the cubes 7 days a week with double shifts. At this point it was obvious this order would not of happened if we had not gambled on the tooling. With custom jobs like this one there are always hidden things that come up and need immediate attention and immediate solutions. For this job it was the dust that came with the tons of natural sand. We implemented several cleaning stations and drying stations that rinsed, cleaned and dried the tons of sand to make the cubes crystal clear. Once in final production we even delivered [...]

43 Licor mini beer hang tag was designed to hold 2 plastic promotional mini beer cups. This marketing increased brand recognition and amazing 90%! Premium Shapes has patents filed for the design and has since manufactured clocks and other items for 43. The hang tag was made out of PremiumEDGE™ plastic which is a very durable thin plastic. Gillette VR Goggles for the Justice League were custom designed and patented by Premium Shapes. The perfect solution to a ship flat, pop up, ready-to-go VR goggles. Printed four color process over the entire unit and shrink wrapped. 800,000 units were distributed over Europe.  This ship flat design makes it the perfect inpack. This same product was purchased by the New York Times and inserted into their Sunday paper.

We were tasked with matching a photo of a crashed mini Cooper to help them market their additional coverage. This project had sat on the agency's desk for 3 years as they could not find a solution. We took this on and within a week sent the following Mini Cooper back to the agency. They were extremely happy with the results. We used a 2" thick black acrylic block, skateboard grip tape to resemble asphalt. Then to get the die cast metal Mini Cooper to bend we had to use a map gas torch. A few weeks had past and we did not hear from the agency and then we received a delivery. The delivery man asked if we were opening a toy store. I was puzzled and asked why he would ask such a question. He opened his rolling gate door to reveal 465 Mini Cooper models. These arrived before the final purchase order but it was a fun pause in our day. These models shipped across the country to the dealerships and was a great success in growing their additional coverage.
